Father and Son Team at Curtain Call
Keith Walker has been manufacturing and retailing soft furnishings in Coventry and Warwickshire for over 30 years, and Keith is very proud that his son Harry, after having attended Interior Design courses in London, and completing his apprenticeship at Curtain Call, has now taken up the position of Sales Director at Curtain Call.
Father and Son, Keith and Harry, are already looking forward to a great year ahead for 2015, with several large contracts already secured. Keith told us, “Many satisfied customers have used our services over the years, and they come back to us years later when they’re ready for a change, knowing we have the skills, expertise, and quality products to do a great job. It’s fantastic that many of our customers recommend us to their friends and families once we have completed a job, and we are now the only remaining bespoke curtain manufacturing company in the area, providing everything you could need for your soft furnishings under one roof.”
Alongside Keith and Harry, you will find a brilliant team of people. There is Lorraine, the Office Manager, and Barry, Harry’s Uncle, the Fitting Manager, who has been with the company for over 25 years. Behind the scenes there is a great team of professional seamstresses, headed up by Workshop Managers, Lin and Kay.
Curtain Call can transform your home with made-to-measure curtains, pelmets, swags & tails, cushions, blinds, head boards, re-upholstery, wallpapers, lighting, carpets, flooring and canopies. Customers can either visit the beautiful extensive show room in Browns Lane, Coventry where Curtain Call has been established for over 20 years, or an appointment can easily be arranged to visit the customer in the comfort of their own home.
Keith added, “Amongst all the doom and gloom over the last few years it’s our local advertising that has really worked for us. We have been advertising in ‘Your Call’ magazine for many years now, and having monitored all our calls, we have seen a dramatic rise in local sales thanks to advertising in this quality magazine”.
Pat Baxter recently wrote to Keith, “Hi Keith, Just a little note to say how pleased and excited I am about the carpets and curtains. The room looks stunning, please say a huge thank you to everyone involved.”
