She is not a real pirate, but Pearl loves to imagine she is sailing the seven seas on a swashbuckling pirate adventure. One day, Pearl finds a stowaway aboard ship – a little blue monster! But little monsters grow into big, greedy monsters, and this one wants his DINNER! There is trouble ahead for Pirate Pearl.

Silly, funny small-scale theatre using puppetry and songs for ages 3-7yrs. A delightful half term show for young landlubbers!

Madness are back with a string of outdoor racecourse shows for 2019! Currently on their ‘The Sound of Madness UK – December Arena Tour’, the first outdoor show kicks off at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Saturday 18th May. The Summer will see them playing the fabulous racecourse grounds including Chepstow, Ffos Las in Carmarthenshire, Lingfield in Surrey, Newcastle and Doncaster, finishing off at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday 30th August.

Madness celebrate being one of the top 20 selling UK groups of all time, with seven top ten albums to their name. The band have reached the UK Top 20 charts twenty two times, with over six million album sales.

Madness

Win a Family Ticket for Styvechale Open Gardens on Sunday 9th June!

This year Styvechale Open Gardens will take place on Sunday 9th June from 11am to 5pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults with children free and tickets will be available on the day from West Orchard Reformed Church, The Chesils, Coventry, CV3 6FP.

Two of the gardens are also open by appointment between the months of May and September to organised groups such as U3A, WIs and garden societies. Last year there were 7 such additional openings.

Styvechale Open Gardens are part of the NGS (National Garden Scheme) of private gardens opening occasionally for charity. NGS began in 1927 and has continued to grow ever since. It has always supported the caring charities, for example, last year NGS donated well over £2,000,000, with, amongst others, Macmillan nurses receiving £500,000 as did Marie Curie and Hospice UK.
