Heart of England Co-operative Society Funerals Triumph on Trustpilot
The Co-operative Funeralcare has been named the top funeral service provider in the Coventry and Warwickshire area, according to national online consumer review website Trustpilot.
The Society, which operates a network of 14 funeral homes in Coventry, Warwickshire, South Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, has achieved a fantastic 4.9 stars out of 5 among 462 customer reviews dating back to May 2018.
Darryl Smith, General Manager of the Society’s Funeral Division, said the secret of the Society’s success was the team’s pride in their work and The Co-operative Funeralcare brand, and their commitment to each and every client family.
From the staff’s ‘organisation’, ‘respectfulness’ and ‘professionalism’ to their ‘genuine empathy and concern’ for client families, individual members of staff and teams alike from across The Co-operative’s network was praised for helping their customers through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
Darryl said, “We are delighted with our reviews on Trustpilot. They have been of a consistently high standard and many of our staff across all our funeral homes have received individual mentions highlighting them not only for their professional skills but for their approach when serving our client families.
“When we appoint someone new to one of our teams, we cherry-pick that person for an induvial skill or quality which is unique to them, but which will enhance the offering from the whole team. I am pleased to see our efforts have not only been recognised by client families, but that they have taken the time and trouble to share it for the benefit of potential client families in the future.”
In September this year the Society marked the opening of the 14th funeral home in its network – a £620,000 facility situated within a Grade II building in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
Plans for 2020 include another new site in the South Warwickshire area.
Earlier this year the Society also took delivery of three new Mercedes Benz hearses and three new Mercedes Benz limousines – worth a collective £700,000 – as well as a new ambulance worth £50,000.
