Spotlighting Kenilworth’s Community Groups and Activities

Fancy taking up a new hobby or interest? Want to volunteer? Looking for something enjoyable to do when you retire? Whether you’d like something relaxing and sociable or something challenging and rewarding, how do you choose? If you’d simply like to find out what other people do with their spare time, or what’s going on in the community, where do you go?

Kenilworth has a vibrant and varied community life with an enormous number of different groups active in the town doing all kinds of wonderful things. But how do you find out about them?

The ideal solution is to come along to Kenilworth Community in Action from 1.30pm on Saturday 9th February at the Methodist Church in Priory Road. This two-part event attracts community organisations of all kinds: clubs, societies, interest groups, social enterprises and charities. They attend informative and inspirational conference talks in the morning, and in the afternoon they showcase their activities to the public in a marketplace event. This is where you can see for yourself what’s on offer in Kenilworth and talk to those involved, face to face on neutral ground. There are stands to browse, activities to try and taster sessions to take part in; refreshments to be enjoyed and community news to catch up on. Entry is free! So, we look forward to seeing you there!
