Third Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival Dates Announced
The 2019 Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival dates have been set, which this year will see the Festival running from 11th to 21st November.
Developed by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Growth Hub and headline partnered by Inspire Insurance, the Business Festival is the largest business to business event in the region.
Over the fortnight, more than 100 different business events take place which last year saw over 1,200 different businesses involved and in excess of 4,000 attendees – nearly 25 per cent of whom came from outside the region. Events are all ran ‘by business for business’ and take many different forms, including workshops, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and product demonstrations and much more.
Jonathan Browning, chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, said, “This will be the third year of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival and it is going from strength to strength.
“This year’s Festival looks set to be the best yet as we continue the countdown to 2021 when Coventry is the UK City of Culture and the following year when the area hosts events as part of the Commonwealth Games.
“Businesses throughout our region are involved in an array of exciting projects and the pipeline remains strong as we attract inward investors to the area.
“The Festival is an ideal opportunity to promote our businesses in a wide variety of sectors and we hope the business community in Coventry and Warwickshire will continue to back this event which contributes to the growth of our local economy.”
Craig Humphrey, managing director of the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Growth Hub, said: “After feedback from businesses, we have brought the dates forward slightly, to allow a bit more breathing space between the end of the Festival and the Christmas period, which is traditionally a very busy time.
“Being the third year of the Festival, the region now understands what it’s all about. So, we’re looking forward to some really great events that will help local businesses grow as well as elevating Coventry and Warwickshire’s national position as a premier, knowledge-based region with fantastic investment potential.”
Applications to run an event in the Business Festival opened on Tuesday 12th March and will close on 2nd September.
There are still opportunities to sponsor or partner the Business Festival, which could lead to substantial benefits such as extensive brand exposure, guaranteed connections, introductions and business lead prospects.
